13 Faces Of Lightning Head

A 13 track pop album () — released November 17th 2008 on Lion Head Recordings

Lion Head Recordings is the new label from veteran electronic dub producer Glyn "Bigga" Bush, internationally known for his work with Rockers Hi-Fi during the 1990s and since the turn of the century his solo albums for Sonar Kollektiv and Stereo Deluxe. "Studio Don" under his Lightning Head guise and "Biggabush Free" and "Sound Sensation" as Biggabush. "13 Faces Of Lightning Head" is the long-awaited follow up to 2002's STUDIO DON, originally released on Jazzanova's offshoot label Best Seven, the album that brought you some seriously don tracks like "Me and Me Princess" ("Nanana Nice...like beans and rice"), "Superfunky Bird" and that crazy steel band version of Jean Jacques Perry's "EVA". It's another classic Biggabush production from start to finish, blending afro grooves, dub basslines, reggae, funk, Ethio jazz and occasional psych sensibilities. Every track is a winner!

Sounds great...specially feeling the psychafro vibes of Ilu Bajae, but to be honest I love it all - Justin Unabomber

Nice afro-dub infused grooves by the man biggabush - always fresh! - Richard Dorfmeister

Absolutely wicked. Great production. Looking forward to playing it out. I also do a radio show on Ministry Of Sound radio so I will be giving it some big ups there - Ashley Beedle
